Nominated for Best Cinematography for In Between Men
January 05, 2012 - I am nominated for an Indie Soap Award for Best Cinematography on the web series In Between Men.----This is exciting news, since very few web series awards acknowledge cinematography (come on Webbys, get with the program!)  In fact, this is a new category added this year.--------In Between Men is also nominated in the following categories:----Best Supporting Actor, Chase Coleman----Best Guest Appearance, Michelle Clunie----Best Breakout Performance, Margot Bingham--------Last year I attended the ceremony, where we were nominated for:----Best Lead Actor----Best Ensemble----Best Music----Best Editing, which we won.--------The awards gala is February 21st.  Wish me luck!

Teaching in New Zealand & Australia
November 29, 2011 - I recently wrapped the feature film "Molly's Theory of Relativity" and I am currently teaching again for Global Short Film Network, doing the cinematography unit of a one-week intro to filmmaking course.  This time I am in New Zealand and we are headed to Melbourne, Australia from here.--------In the past 2.5 years, GSFN has brought me to Egypt, China, Trinidad and Australia, and this time I am excited to have nearly twice the time with my students to get to do more hand-on learning.--------After Australia, I go to Louisiana to shoot a short documentary about education reform.

Upcoming Feature & doc in France
September 20, 2011 - After the disappointment of Landlocked pushing just a few days before filming was to begin, I am happy to have new news to report.  In November, I will be shooting the feature film: "Molly's Theory of Relativity," directed by Jeff Lipsky.  In October I am traveling to Lille, France, with Darby Films, to shoot for the TB (Tuberculosis) Alliance.

"The Pond" screens theatrically in LA this week
September 19, 2011 - ----THE POND was selected to be part of Shorts International's theatrical debut, taking place this week in Los Angeles.  The showings are this Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at CGV Cinemas, located at 621 S. Western Ave.  If you're in the LA area, please come check out the film.  The picture and surround sound are at their full glory in the film's Digital Cinema Package (DCP) format that will be screened------------This screening qualifies us to submit for Oscar consideration! ------------

Signed on to shoot the feature film "Landlocked"
August 04, 2011 - I am excited to shoot in my native state of Rhode Island.  "Landlocked" is an independent film about a charming New York hot shot, sent to RI by his real estate development firm to woo the local community to allow the building of a casino of the Narragansett Indian reservation. --------Filming begins after Labor Day.

August 03, 2011 - The International Cinematographers Guild "Jendra T Shirt," with my Rosie the Riveter image is now available to purchase on the Local 600 website.  Though the site say's "women's shirt" it's actually a man's cut.  Though it does run large.  So order one size smaller than usual T shirts.--------It's only $20.--------Click here to buy.

May 30, 2011 - ----ANDE Global Video----This is an 8 minute documentary for ANDE: the Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs.  I shot in several locations in India & South Africa.  90% of the piece is my work- everything but Brazil.  The production company is Darby Films, owned by producer/director John-Michael Maas.
